I am an amateur photographer living in Whitley Bay in the North East of England. I was born and grew up in Zimbabwe but have made England my home since ’98.
My favoured subject matter is anything outdoors: for me, photography is about getting out and responding to what I find. Living with beautiful scenery on my doorstep, and wildlife a little harder to find, the vast majority of my work is landscape photography. My approach to photography is primarily as a tool for artistic expression rather than for documentary record.
I am the proud holder of the title “LRPS” – that is, the Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society.
About the blog.
This blog is the 2nd incarnation of a previous blog (archived here) I started in late 2009. It exists primarily to motivate me to liberate images from my hard drive.
