Giant’s Causeway 1

In the previous post I suggested that a sequence of photographs of Giant’s Causeway would follow. This is the first.

In the short time we were there, I focussed on the forms, patterns, textures and lines of the famous basalt columns. Though the formations are entirely natural, we found that the high degree of regularity and uniformity they exhibit made it very difficult to accept that they were not carved by the hand of man.

    nice capture
    good contrast

Definitely not made by the hand of man – but possibly worn down by their feet! Given long enough!

    Makes a nice abstract…
